The Maccabiah, often referred to as “The Jewish Olympics”, takes place every four years in Israel, and host over 10,000 athletes from 80 countries.
It is the world’s largest Jewish athletic competition and the second largest sporting event in the world – in terms of number of athletes competing – after the Olympics.
In July 2022, The Scheinberg Family Canadian Delegation included close to 600 athletes and staff.
Fully recognizing the challenge of recruiting athletes in the current political and economic environment, we invite you to become a team sponsor and to assist athletes to be part of this extraordinary journey. The Maccabiah, originally created in response to growing antisemitism in Europe in the 1920’s, has become one of the greatest Jewish/Israel experiences for participants. For many it is their first trip to Israel, and for all, it serves as a life changing experience that strengthens their love for Israel in the most powerful of ways.
We invite you to join the Scheinberg Family, Presenting Sponsor of the 2025 Canadian Delegation Team to the 22nd Maccabiah Games, by becoming a team sponsor of our delegation at one of the following levels:
