THE JUNIOR AND OPEN VOLLEYBALL TEAMS

Maccabi Canada is pleased to announce the athletes selected for the Junior and Open Volleyball teams set to compete in the 21st Maccabiah Games in Israel from July 12-26, 2022. 

These athletes are apart of a more than 500-member delegation from Canada, who will join a total of 10,000 Jewish athletes from 80 countries in the third largest sporting event in the world.

Junior Boys 

Led by: Coach Reid Saxby, Team Manager Howard Binstock, and Chaperone Adam Billedeau. 
The team is composed of: Justin Banks, Aiden Elbaz, Mason Gillick, Tom Haklai, Benjamin Hoole, Jonah Katz, Michael Korman, Elai Mizrahi, Conaire Taub and Nicholas Taub. 

Junior Girls

Led by: Coach Jack Serlin, Team Manager Samara Grintuch
The team is composed of: Jaclyn Boxer, Kylie Cohen, Makenna Gillick, Norah Jordan Bernstein Norah, Emily Muskal, Jesse Peck, Emma Serlin, Jenna Shulman, Casey Tarek-Kaminker, and Lydia Tung.

Open Women

Led by: Coach Garry Kollins and Team Manager Melissa Bartlett
The team is composed of:  Maya Kelly, Moriah Kalles, Hanna Kolof, Marie Leggett-Vasilieva, Shelby Michaels, Rio Pesochin, Leah Serlin, Maya Soicher, Saffron van der Linde, Emily Willer, and Elina Zvigelsky.
